Kids FREE October!

During the entire month of October, kids eat, stay and play for free throughout San Diego. La Jolla Kayak is proud to annouce that we will be offering free kayak tours for kids during October 2012! This is a great opportunity for the family to enjoy some quality time, while not breaking the bank. Our kayak tours are appropriate for swimmers age 6 and up, and no kayaking experience is necessary.

In a double kayak, you and your child can discover the spectacular sea cliffs, the seven caves and the La Jolla Underwater Park with abundanct wildlife! Come join us on a thrilling kayak experience of the Seven Caves and La Jolla's Underwater Park. This 2 hour kayak tour will explore some of the finest scenery along the Pacific Coast and see some of the most spectacular marine life around, such as Dolphin, Sea Lions, Leopard Sharks and Garibaldi. Our certified instructors will provide you with a safe and memorable trip.

The Original Kayak Tour is available year-round (weather permitting) and the price includes your paddle, Personal Floatation Device (PFD), kayak, and tour guide.

Same day tour reservations are subject to availability. Age 6+ for double kayak tours (with Adult.)

One child free per paid adult kayak tour with La Jolla Kayak. Valid for children 6-15 years old.

Endless Summer?

It is hard to believe that we are already approaching September! Before we know it, the summer will be summed up by a few pictures on your Facebook page.

But don't pack up your swim trunks and bikinis just yet!!!

The weather is still warm, the water is still inviting, and all of us here at La Jolla Kayak are still eager to take you out on a kayak, bike, or snorkel tour!

The Leopard Sharks are still out to say hello, but not for too much longer. So if you haven't had a chance yet to snorkel off the coast with these amazing creatures, what are you waiting for? Book your tour ASAP for this amazing experience.

The weather is only cooling slightly, so perhaps it's the right time to take that Mt. Soledad Slide bike tour you've heard about. It's great fun for the family! Our guides will transport you, the hybrid bike, and all your gear up to the top of Mt. Soledad. Then you can experience the wind in your hai, as you cruise down the mountain enjoying the breath-taking ocean view and checking out the sights of all of extraordinary homes in La Jolla.
