Summer Job at the BEACH!!!

La Jolla Kayak is seeking kayak tour guides, bike tour guides, and snorkel guides to work at our two La Jolla Shores locations during the 2008 season. Previous experience in the ocean is recommended and training will be provided for all new employees. Interested candidates should BRING A RESUME to one of the interview sessions listed below.

Saturday May 10th, 2008 at 7:30AM

Friday May 16th, 2008 at 6:30PM
Saturday May 17th, 2008 at 7:30AM

Requirements of Applicants

Good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic
Must have a love for the outdoors and an appreciation for the ocean and marine life
Must be at least 18 years of age and must have a CPR/First Aid certification
Experience with kayaking, snorkeling, and/or cycling

Wages and Benefits

Full-and Part-Time (Summer-Only Positions)
$9.50 per hour plus gratuities (typically $10-40 per 1.5-2 hour tour)
Free use of rental equipment on days off (space available basis)
