Summer Job at the BEACH!!!
La Jolla Kayak is seeking summer employees to work as kayak tour guides, bike tour guides, and snorkel tour guides at our two La Jolla Shores locations during the 2009 season. Previous experience in the ocean is recommended and training will be provided for all new employees. Interested candidates should BRING A RESUME to one of the interview sessions listed below.

- Tuesday May 19th at 6:30 PM
- Thursday May 21st at 6:30 PM
- Saturday May 23rd at 7:30 AM
- Tuesday May 26th at 6:30 PM
- Thursday May 28th at 6:30 PM
Requirements of Applicants
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic
- A passion for the outdoors and an appreciation for the ocean and marine life
- Experience with kayaking, snorkeling, and/or other ocean activities
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of all training requirements after initial offer of employment
Wages and Benefits
- Full-and Part-Time (Summer-Only Positions)
- $9.50 per hour plus gratuities (typically $10-40 per 1.5-2 hour tour)
- Free use of rental equipment on days off (space available basis)
